Has anyone received an approval recently from the HO?
I applied from inside the UK on 21st February 2025, had my biometric appointment on 23 February 25.
Also received the UK Survey on 13 March.
Have not received any update so far.
Received today! 1:57pm.

Hello everyone, please i downloaded the checklist on the stage 2 document needed, does any one from Nigeria know the main document to be submitted for this process.
For the record - my timeline for Stage 2 application:
Application submitted: 15th April
UKVI Survey (Qualtrics): 15th April
UKVI Survey (Walnut): 17th April
Visa granted: April 24th
My stage 2 application timeline. I did the cheaper option (not priority).
Application submitted: 11 July 2025 (Friday)
Visa granted: 13 July 2024 (Sunday) (on a weekend?!?!? haha)
I never had to do any biometrics or a survey so now I’m questioning why?!
I did apply using my German passport and scanned the chip as part of the application so maybe that’s why?
Is there something else I need to do now? The email doesn’t mention anything, just links me to a website I can use to prove my visa status. So I think that’s it?!
Sharing my Stage 2 timeline in case it’s helpful for anyone going through the process:
Location: USA (USCIS Application Support Center, standard service)
- Application submitted online: July 3
- Biometrics appointment +Passport sent: July 7
- Confirmation of receipt from VFS: July 11
- Application sent to UKVI: July 12
- Decision received: July 15 (approved)
- Passport returned: July 17 (my birthday!)

Below is my timeline for stage 2 when applying from Inside UK:
2 July - Stage 1 Tech Nation recommendation received
3 July - Biometrics submitted
4 July - UKVI Home office email received application
28 July - Global Talent route granted, e-visa issued.
I also received email about the refund of extra IHS I had submitted because I was already under skilled worked visa.

17 July 2025: TN endorsement
17 July 2025: Stage 2 application submitted
19 July 2025: Biometric appointment. Received same day email for TLSContact (bio metric service provider) that submission was s
27 July 2025: Email from UKVI that the Home Office has received application and supporting docs submitted on 17 Jul
12 July 2025: HO Atlas email - application successful and permission granted! Also received an email for refund of IHS surcharge for previous Skill Visa.

Hi Amdh hope you are well, just a quick question have you previously worked or studied in UK? and did your evisa had a national insurance number or you had to apply for it separately?
