Stage 2 waiting times

congratulations.
Good to know all the timeline.

Best wishes.

After receiving my endorsement in 1 business day, I also got my visa approved in 1 day. I had my biometrics appointment yesterday and got a mail saying my visa is approved for the standard application.

For people that switched visa within the UK. Was your BRP delivered to you in person or was it dropped in your letterbox?

Trying to plan my schedule & know if I have to stay at home to be able to receive it.

I’ve applied using the priority service. It’s been 5+ working days and I haven’t gotten a response. Is this normal? Any advice on next steps? Is there a way to contact them? (Applied from within the UK)

Ignore me. Got an email from them today. Took about 7 days.

Hi.
Within UK.
I applied on 3rd of March for stage 2 and still no reply.

Is there anyone who waited for more than 3 months? (excluding the dependents).

Also anyone who got decision while applied on 3rd of march or after it?

I am a bit worried as i have booked my flight, in coming days.

Thank you.

Hi @Yasir,
is the 3rd March the date of submitting your biometrics?
If you applied with a classical track (meaning you didn’t pay for faster response), the response may take up to 8 weeks starting from the date you submitted your biometrics.

Thanks. @Amira_Chalbi
Yes biometrics were on 3rd of March. And I read that 8 weeks statement officially but so far looking into this group and my personal netwrok, I was expecting it within 3 weeks.

I see. I hope you will get an answer very soon

I applied from outside the UK (Germany)

  • normal application as priority was not available
  • (timeline for stage 1 can be found in stage 1 waiting times thread)

Stage 2

  • Application: 29th of March
  • used the UK ID Check App for biometrics
  • Approval: 8th of April

I applied from within UK.

UK endorsement decision (appeal was successful): 7th Feb
Applied for Stage 2: 22nd March (Standard, no priority)
Biometrics: 23rd March

Have received no emails since.

They did not take my passport (only scanned it at the document processing centre). Is that normal for applicants from inside the UK? @awkwrd101 @scao @Amira_Chalbi @Yasir

Yes, that seems to be the normal process for applicants applying from within UK. They didn’t take my passport either. I got only one email from home office, which stated the application is approved and a new BRP will be sent within 7 days.

They did not take my passport either. You should receive an email from HO.
