Hi everyone
Can you please help me to clarify the following statement? the screenshot is from the following link:
GTE 7.5. An applicant must provide evidence of any commercially successful established businesses, share ownership or businesses dissolved in the last 5 years where the applicant has been a founder or senior executive.
thank you.
You must provide evidence of any commercially successful established businesses, share ownership or businesses dissolved in the last 5 years where you have been a founder or senior executive.
GTE 7.5 is mandatory I think but I could not find any clear statement that an applicant no matter is from business or tech, talking about owning a business.!?
@Zehra_Yetiskin
A reading of those links in isolation would make it seem that you need to have established a business to obtain the Global Talent Visa. This is not the case. We have many people in the community who have gotten the endorsement as employees of digital technology companies (and not as founders).
When you fill in the application on Tech Nation site (stage 1b), one of the questions you will need to answer is about businesses you have founded in the past and/or have been dissolved. You can just tick N/A there. As far as I know, it is not saying that it is compulsory to have owned one to qualify for the visa.
Thanks for your support. Since the GTE7.5 section starts with ; βAn applicant MUST provide.β.I am still not sure about this statement. It does not mention it as it is required INCASE you have a business or had a business. If this statement means that IF you had a business before or already have, you must provide it, the statement should have been in a different way.
On the contrary, states that an applicant MUST provide β¦
But at the end if global talent visa does not require a business owned in the past or having a business already, I can skip this statement.
Thanks a lot again for your support and time
