Hi could you please help me what they mean about world class standard because I al working in big research team in cyber security in UK and the research is funded from big company in UK do they need to mention in reference letter ‘‘world class standard’’

You’ll have to explain how your research contributes to knowledge, the novelty of your work, your contributions, and impact of the research or potential impact and benefit to the digital technology sector in the UK.
Your referees don’t necessarily need to repeat the same phrase but can use other qualifying phrases to describe how exceptional your research is.
