Why Are Additional Documents Required for Global Talent Visa Stage 2 (Outside the UK)?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently applying for the Global Talent visa (Stage 2) from outside the UK. Based on the official guidance, I thought the only required documents for this stage are the passport and endorsement letter. However, the checklist I received also requests other documents, such as financial evidence, proof of address, and property ownership.

Has anyone else faced this situation? Is it normal to ask for these additional documents, or could it be a mistake?

I’d appreciate any insights or similar experiences.

This is a general checklist, you don’t need these documents for stage 2 GTV. Just the passport and endorsement letter.
