I am just curious.
If during the Stage 1 of Global Talent visa application the applicant states under the “Are you applying under exceptional promise or exceptional talent criteria?” as “Exceptional promise” but after getting the endorsement from Tech Nation the endorsement is “Exceptional Talent”.
What happens if such a scenario is the case?
In the Stage 2 of the application does the applicant has to mention something regarding this?
And, can the applicant directly apply for 5 years visa?

You can directly apply for the 5 years visa in the UK & Since you have exceptional talent visa, you can apply for ILR within 3 years. For exceptional promise folks, they can apply for a ILR after 5 years only.
Only thing is if you are apply for ILR within 3 years, your IHS payment for remaining 2 years will not be refunded i guess , but not sure on this !!
