What does "Last Edited" in the application preview mean?

Hey everyone!

Context

I’ve submitted my application some time ago. However, when I login into the portal and click “Preview” on the application, it shows a section with a “Last Edited” timestamp.

Question

What does this last edited mean? I have no access to the application to make any changes and the date of submission looks correct (several days in the past). But this “Last Edited” timestamp has just been updated to today’s date.
