Urgent Stage 2 Visa Advice Needed

Hi all, my Skilled Worker visa expired on 7 February 2026.

Prior to expiry, I submitted my Stage 2 application and paid both the application fee and the Immigration Health Surcharge. However, I did not realise that I needed to book a biometrics appointment, as I have switched Skilled Worker visas previously and did not have to attend a separate appointment.

I received my endorsement decision yesterday and have now started the biometrics booking process via TLScontact.

I would be grateful for clarification on the following:
1. As my Stage 2 application was submitted and paid for before my visa expiry, am I covered despite not having completed biometrics yet or have I overstayed?
2. Is proceeding with TLScontact for biometrics the correct next step?
3. Could you please confirm exactly which supporting documents are required for upload at this stage?

So far, I have uploaded:
• Passport
• Endorsement letter
• Most recent BRP

Please help :pray::pray::pray:

@Raphael @pahuja @Francisca_Chiedu please I’ll appreciate any insights

@notanxious Congratulations once again. If you have a moment, it would be great if you could share a short post about how the platform supported you and the high level evidence you used. This would really encourage others and help keep the community useful.

Just to be clear, I’m not an immigration lawyer and this is for informational purposes only.

On your questions:

  1. I recommend speaking with a qualified immigration lawyer for personalised advice.
  2. Yes, the process is typically: Stage 1 - Stage 2 (Application) - Biometrics - Response.
  3. From what you’ve shared, it looks like you’re on the right track with the documents you submitted.

All the best.

Use the mandatory evidence checklist stated in your application. What’s you shared looks fine. This is not immigration fine best to use the mandatory evidence.
