Switching from Skilled worker visa to GTV

Hi All,

I recently got my GTV and currently I am on skilled worker visa for 2 years.

I have doubt that as for how much years shall I take the Global talent visa, considering I am eligible to get ILR after 3 years?

Do I have to apply only for 1 year and then I can apply for my ILR?

Or Do I need to ask a Immigration lawyer for this?

Congratulations Gunjan.

Yes, if you got Exceptional Talent you just need 1 year for ILR Eligibility.
1 year on GTV and 2 years on skilled worker visa.

Can you share your timeline of application and evidence criteria chosen?

Thanks

I have applied on 20th Decemeber and Got the reply on 6th January.

I work as a Data Scientist in NHS.

The documents that I have submitted:
Recommendation letter:
A letter from Director of my organisation
A letter from a Senior professor who works with my department
A letter from my past company’s Manager

Mandatory criteria:
MC1: Salary slips of Indian employer and UK employer showcasing salary above averge pay
MC2: Contribution as an Advisory for two startups

Optional Criteria:
OC1: My contribution towards getting a US patent for a research lab
OC3: My contribution towards AI in healthcare with recommendation letters
OC4: My publications (around 17) and awards on International level

Thanks and Regards,
Gunjan Naik

Thanks Gunjan. Could you please elaborate for MC how you presented and fit salaries from two employers in 3 page limit. That would be helpful

You can apply for a year and tims spent on your skilled worker visa

Did you provide evidence for three optional criteria? Looks like you only provided one evidence for each of the criteria. Can you please explain this?

Congratulations! On being an Advisory for two start-ups, please could you specify if it was a reference letter from the Directors of the Start-ups submitted or contributions published via articles and journals.
