Student dependant time is counted toward ILR?

Hi folks,

My dependents are in the uk with me 4 years on student dependent visa and 3 years on GTV dependent visa. Now, can they applied ILR with me after 3 years (fast track?). Anyone has the same situation can help and confirm? Thanks so much.

Hi, dependents cannot usually apply for ILR with the main applicant after 3 years on the Global Talent Visa (GTV) route, unless they have completed 5 continuous years as GTV dependents (or on another ILR-qualifying visa).

In most cases, a dependent will need to extend their visa and complete the full 5-year residence period before applying for ILR.

Thanks. I know all need to qualify 5 years. I am asking that 5 years for dependents can include time they spent on student dependents visa + GTV dependents visa. Hope anyone in the same situation can confirm for me soon.

From what we know or have seen here. Dependa can combine time on other dependant route if they have spent 5 years as long has the main applicant has gotten ILR. I would recommend you speak to a licensed immigration advisor as this forum is not for visa related matters.
