Stage1 - Applying on GovUK

Hi,

I’m applying for Exceptional Talent under digital tech sector via the new UK Gov website. I have paid the fees and I have the following questions.

I did not get a section to upload my evidences ( supporting documents). Instead, I was asked to email it. Is this the new norm?

How to upload your documents

You must scan and upload a copy of your document checklist and supporting documents.

Also these were the other points

  1. Scan each document - they must be clear and easy to read.
  2. Save them to your computer or device as individual PDFs.
  3. Give each file a simple name - for example, “letter 1”.
  4. Upload them as an email attachments.

1.a - Are we supposed to scan each evidence?
2.a - Are we supposed to scan and edit the checklist?

Also, i don’t have a UAN. I have a reference number but no UAN.

Yes, a per new process, we need to send documents as an email attachments there is no portal anymore to upload the documents.

Once you paid the fees, it will let you know the next steps, where you saw this information where to upload documents, there in bottom, you can print/download your checklist and application form.

All the LORs and Evidences, CV should be in PDF format not necessarily scanned, as you already have got them in soft copy.

You can simply attached your checklist, CV, LORs and Evidence in email attachment provided on in ‘next steps’ page after you made the payment.

Once you download the checklist, the first paragraph contains your UAN and details.

Thanks @batool.syed. Even the checklist can be unscanned and a soft copy could be attached right?

Also - is there a seperate index file/document which we need to upload?
