Stage 2 Advice for American Applicant Currently In Portugal

I got my Tech Nation endorsement in 3 days!! Very excited.

Now, I’m on to Stage 2.

I am very stressed about returning to the U.S. right now for personal reasons and being scared of flying.

Does anyone know of any exceptions possible where I could use the VFS Global in the country I’m in on a tourist visa (Portugal) instead of needing to go back to the U.S. for biometrics?

And if not, has anyone paid for Priority (5 day processing) in the United States? Does that work and do folks then actually get a response in 5 days? Plus, how frequently are appointments available?

Thank you so much for answering my question! Do you know how many appointments are available typically? Like are there several appointments every day or only one a week/every other week, so I really need to plan my flights around it?
