I submitted my application on April 21. On May 11, I received an email requesting a document correction, and I corrected it and sent it back the same day. On May 13, I received an email saying that my application had been forwarded to Tech Nation.(promise)

Hi all,
I applied May 5th 2026, its May 20th and still waiting for Home Office to forward my application to Tech Nation.
When I emailed them, they simply said
‘We have your application and will officially confirm receipt once processed.’
It is taking some time…

I applied on the 5th of may, sent my documents on the 6th. No feedback from them yet

Yes, that’s the correct email. I assume you followed the instructions too:
The subject line of the email must include the applicant’s:
- unique application number (UAN) - this is 16 numbers starting with 1212
- name
- date of birth
- Endorsing Body’s name - this is the Endorsing Body you are applying to
Ideally you should get the automated email within a few minutes of sending your first set of documents. Could you check your spam folder?

Yes its correct and you should have gotten an automatic reply, please check your spam - if nothing, please email them to be sure.
This is 21 days later and I still haven’t heard back from home office. My application is still not forwarded to Tech Nation.
Please if anyone knows what is wrong or what they have been doing with my application for 3 weeks, please let me know.

You can email them to request an update. Just to let you know, there was a bank holiday yesterday and children are also on midterm break. Most parents (including Home Office caseworkers) usually take time off work, so there might be some delays.

Hi! When submitting my application I’ve got the automated email saying it may take up to 4 weeks to be submitted and do not get in touch prior to that deadline. My application was forwarded to Tech Nation after 3 weeks after I’ve sent it. All this to say, be patience, I know is difficult but it seems is now standard that the home office is taking 3-4 weeks to forward applications

Hi All,
Finally got the “your application has been referred to Tech Nation” email today 
Timeline:
- Submitted: 5 May 2026
- Referred to Tech Nation: 29 May 2026
Yesterday I got an email from the caseworker saying I had submitted 11 evidence documents instead of 10.
Turns out the issue was caused by the separate “proof of business ownership” document. The checklist made it appear like:
- CV
- business proof
- recommendation letters
- 10 evidence docs
were all separate categories.
After panicking and doing some research on here, I realised one of my 10 evidences already contained the business ownership proof
I emailed back asking them to simply disregard the separate business ownership upload since it duplicated evidence already inside my OC document.
Today, I got the referral email to Tech Nation 
So if anyone else runs into the “11 evidence documents” issue as a founder/business owner applicant, Try adding your ownership proof inside one of your evidence docs to bring the number down to 10.
Now the real waiting begins

So I submitted my documents on the 6th, i emailed tech nation yesterday about my documents and they said it has been referred to tech nation since 26th and a technical issue occurred thats why i didn’t receive an email. They then gave me tech nation reference number.

You haven’t still heard back from TN? You’re the only other female founder I know who applied for this, and you ran into the same confusion I had which no one could answer which is the proof of business vs 10 evidence doc. I wish there was a way we could connect. I’m also fingers crosssed waiting for a response from my application
