Signing the recommendation letter

I have a question related to signing the recommendation letter
what is the best way to sign the letter?
For the second question one of the professors signed the document by copying his signature in Word and sent it back to me I converted it to pdf take a screenshot from his email and merged it into the recommendation letter
the other professor printed the recommendation letter then signed and scanned it and sent it back to me, is that okay?

Both are fine. Recommenders can hand sign
