Settlement Application Evidence

Hi everyone,
I was curious if any of you have already applied to settlement and had to provide evidence of your work and salary within the UK whilst on the Global Talent Visa. Are there any specific guidelines as to what is considered as related to technology or exclusion lists, for example? Thanks a lot!

@fernanda_caguiar I have not applied myself yet. I’m about do it in a few weeks time.
Normally, it should be payslips, and employment contract which is relevant to the category you are initially endorsed for,

Thanks!! I am just wondering what does “relevant” to the category actually means - do you know of any guidance/specific criteria regarding this? For example, can it be any technology related role if tech isn’t the core of the company or does it need to be a company with records filed specifically proving it is tech related and things like that.
If you have any sources or advisors on this, please do let me know! Thanks a million!

Get your employer to confirm that you have earned money in the field of digital technology… and accountant can do same if you are self employed.

Digital technology is a wide field. Do you think being lecturer in mechatronic systems at top tier university can be considered in the digital technology?

If they have contributed to the adavancment of the field, yes.
