What are people’s response times for stage 1 these days? I submitted my Promise application on January 20, 2022 and am currently waiting for response.
it varies, between 24hrs and 4 weeks
I considered emailing the Home Office to see if the application is in the queue. Do you think I should wait until 4 weeks are over?

It is not yet three weeks since you applied. No point contacting home office, the official time is 8 weeks.
