Reference Vs Recommendation Letter

Hi
I have a few questions on the reference letter

  • How is a recommendation letter different from a referral letter in Tone and content?
  • Does a referral letter need to be addressed to the Global Talent program or have any mention of it?
  • Is it usually must shorter than a recommendation letter?

Thank you for your reply @igortsk. I was wondering if it would be ok to have a referral letter that is not really addressed to The Tech Visa team (or for that purpose), but just a “who so ever it may concern” since Im requesting a regulatory body in Singapore for a reference letter for a series of webinars I conducted over the course of a few years.

The letter should have the Tech Nation name and address on it. To whom it may concern is also okay but please address it to Tech Nation
