Recommendation Letters vs. Reference Letters

It seems to me like what I got in the recommendation letters are covering the role of “reference letters” as part of the 10 evidence that I need to provide:

“You led the growth of a product-led digital technology company, product or team inside a digital technology company, as evidenced by reference letter(s) from leading industry expert(s) describing your work…”

I wonder if I need to ask them to write new letters for me that specifically touches my role?

Or maybe I need to ask other people than the CTOs of the company?

It would certainly be better to ask someone else to write a letter for you. Rule of thumb - the more different people can recommend you - the better your profile looks.
