QC1 qualification - grant?

Guys,

Recently we were awarded $1m grant for a leading tech product research. The company is owned by one of my ex colleagues and the reason it was awarded was due to me and one of my other colleagues experience. Clearly, I can show this for QC1. My question is, I am about to start working on this research project. Is the evidence of us getting this project and me working on this project enough or do I wait for 5-6 months and then submit the application?

Securing a grant as impressive as 1M for research is quite a phenomenal achievement. It does put you in the purview of requisite talent the UK is in pursuit for. Proving your significant inovolvement for upcoming research work is also relevant. You may apply if you have other things in your kitty to fulfill other criteria as well.
