Product Marketing Manager at Google - Do I have a shot?

Hi Everyone. I’m interested in migrating to the UK and I’d like to better understand my chances of qualifying for a global talent visa. Here’s a brief overview:

  • I’m a Product Marketing Manager with ~10 years of experience at Google and I hold an MBA from a top 10 business school in the US. I also have a lot of experience in generative AI, which is a very in-demand space.
  • I’m an L7 at Google (Principal level, top 5% seniority at the company) and my total compensation is ~$500,000 USD, which is significantly above average.
  • I have letters of recommendation from the Chief Marketing Officer and Executive VP at a company with over $1B in revenue and from a Senior Director at Google.
  • As for evidence, I’ve led Marketing for products with billions of users and products that generated billions in revenue. I’ve written a number of blog posts and created websites on the google.com domain that reach millions of users. I’ve given presentations at large industry events to 500+ attendees. I’ve also built demos and keynotes at large industry events with >20,000 paid attendees.

Do you think I have a decent shot? If there’s any additional info that would be helpful, please let me know.

Hi @ryanna your experience looks good!

For TN GTV applications what’s more important is to meet the criteria based on what they are specifically looking for and provide evidences towards those.

You will be able to get better feedback if you could post an application outline across the 3 criteria that you are considering.
