Hi everyone, I will like to find out if anyone has an idea on if I can use an expired passport (applied for a new one but approval is taking so long) alongside my current BRP (Skilled worker visa) to apply for the global talent endorsement and visa. I sent an email to global talent endorsements at home office and they responded it is okay but your experience and responses will be really appreciated. I intend applying for endorsement as soon as possible.
You won’t find a better answer on a volunteer forum than the one provided by home office - they’re the authority here.

I really dont get this. You already got a response from the home office that it is ok to use your expired passport for stage 1. Why are you still asking for clarification when you already got a response from official source?

Thanks for your response @Francisca_Chiedu, sincere apologies for asking here again, i know the response i got was fine, i was just curious to know if there are people that had same situation earlier.
What you need to know that rules change. Someone here could have had a similar experience and the rule or guide for such situation may have been formally addressed afterwards. Their experience may not be relevant to your current situation. If you use your old passport and it gets queried when you use your new passport for stage 2, you have an official email as evidence that you were told it is not a problem. It is that simple!
