I am in the final stages of completing my PhD while working full-time, and I have around 9 years of professional experience in my field. As I prepare my Global Talent Visa application, I would like to seek advice on how to best present this information.
Would highlighting that I have nearly completed my PhD while maintaining a full-time job strengthen my application? Additionally, should I emphasize my 9 years of work experience alongside my academic achievements? If so, are there specific aspects of my PhD journey (such as publications, research impact, or conferences) or my professional experience that would be particularly valuable to highlight?
I would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions from those who have experience with the application process.

It does not matter if you did your phd while working full time, the question you need answer or proof is are you recognised a leader in your field? Do you have evidence of innovation? Do you have proof of voluntary work outside your dat job that advance the sector? Do you have proof of impact at work or in the sector? Do you have proof of your research contribution?
There are examples of how you can show proof in the guide.
I mentioned my part-time job while doing my PhD and even got a reference letter from the organization. If you have 9 years of experience in one of the fields mentioned by UKVI, you should apply for the Exceptional Talent.
