Multiple entires with the vignette

I am not sure I will be able to pick my BRP the first time I enter the UK. My decision letter says that I can enter multiple times but there will be additional security checks if I enter more than once without the BRP. The vignette itself says it’s valid for multiple entries. But this page on gov.uk says that a new vignette is needed if you do not get your BRP the first time you enter the UK. https://www.gov.uk/biometric-residence-permits/getting-your-brp-if-you-applied-from-outside-the-uk

So can I enter multiple times without picking up my BRP?

I’m bumping this topic because I’d also like to know if anyone else has experience with this. I’ll be entering the UK and leaving a few days later before receiving my BRP.

I know someone who came in without picking his BRP, the first time, he was queried, he had issues re-entering the second time he was allowed to go but was told not to use the vignette. It is an entry clearance vignette not a visitors visa.
