Merge problem with Docusign

Hi,
I have docusign signed letters, and I combined them into a portfolio through Adobe Acrobat instead of merging them because docusigned letters cannot be merged. I can view them, however, I had a friend try to open it and she couldn’t open because she didn’t have that particular form of adobe. I worry that the assessors won’t be able to access my “combined” pdf documents.
I can’t get merged docusign letters at this point from the signers. I used adobe portfolio based on what I read on this forum but some people without Adobe X cannot open it. What do you suggest? Thanks in advance

Hi @natalie

Just download the letter in pdf format. You will get the letters and the trace certificate.

Go to ilovepdf website and merge it in there.

Hope this helps.

Maya, you have been of so much help during my application. Hope that positivity comes back to you. really appreciate your support.
I read in this forum to “not do anything” with signed documents because they are somewhat encrypted. I wasn’t sure how to proceed. I will merge them after your recommendation. Thanks so much!

Best of luck dear. Just dont forget to download the CVs too and merge with each letter. So each letter will include : signed letters + trace certificate + CV

Best of luck.

Hi @Maya, I just saw your post when I was searching DocuSign. I just want to double check that the only document needs to be signed is Letter of Recommendation or Letter of Reference, is it correct? CVs do not need to be signed, right? Thanks!

That is correct. Best of luck!

Thanks so much, really appreciate your response!!

Hello experts,
I did not merge CVs with recommendation letters because I was worried about losing authenticity of docusigned letters. The 3 references are CXO level professionals in well known companies. In my application as well as in the email to home office, I mentioned that I couldn’t share CV as separate artifacts due to 10 attachments limit mentioned in TechNation reference webpage, however I said I could share separately if required.
It has been a week since I paid stage 1 fees and sent email to HO. I understand it may take more than 2 weeks for HO to forward my application to TechNation.
In the meantime, should I share the CVs and audit/docusign summary of letters as second email or should just wait to see if TechNation asks for them?
In addition to 3 mandatory letters, I have 5 letters (8 total) for MC,OC1 and OC3.
Please advise, thanks in advance.

Do the letters include their LinkedIns?

Hi @KVGlobal

What I do suggest is to have the letter first, their exported CV from LinkedIn , then the Docusign timestamp document.(letter + Exported CV + Docusign) Of course their letters should still have their contact details and LinkedIn profile link.

However, in your case, if their letters have LinkedIn profile that can be used to still verify who they are viz-a-viz TN’s requirements, maybe you wait. If not, there may be an issue verifying them. So, the safe thing to do is to send a second email, and only pray it goes through.

All the best.

Hi @pahuja @Raphael - yes the letters do include their LinkedIn profile URLs.

Then you don’t neee a CV unless their LinkedIn is not updated.

Great! What is required is CV or any other proof of their credentials that the endorsing body will accept - The LinkedIn profiles should suffice.

What you want to do now is to make sure, their LinkedIn profiles reflect their updated trajectory, if not, you can reach out to them.

All the best.
