LOR as an evidence - how?

Would love to get a clarification on LORs.

Can I use the LORs also as evidence for OC-3?

My 3 LORs are providing evidence to business contributions in 3 different product-led companies.

If I can use the LOR as evidence under OC-3 examples, how do it do it? Is it basically to attached the LOR twice? I’m trying to understand if I can leverage these LORs or need to obtain new reference letters for the OC-3s instead.

@pahuja @Francisca_Chiedu thank you in advance

No, you can’t use that same LOR. Get someone to write a Reference letter for you.

you list the letter separately under the relevant criteria heading and list the person’s name at the end of the application

But it must be : a different person than the Reference Letters, and they should have known you for at least 12 months and can attest to your impact. I used external leaders for my primary reference letters then my ex cfo for my supporting evidence

@Cameron_Pearson I wanted to clarify—are we allowed to include a screenshot of the reference letter directly within one of the three A4 pages of the application, or should we instead provide a link (e.g., to a Google Drive folder) where the full reference letter can be viewed? Would really appreciate your guidance on this.

Hey have you read the full guidance? It specifically disallows the use of links etc.,

You can’t use the same letter twice in one application….all letters should be uploaded in pdf format, in their original form and signed (preferably using Docusign)

This is disallowed as per guidelines - https://technation-globaltalentvisa-guide.notion.site/

@Akash_Joshi Im actually a bit confused and wanted to clarify something. For Option Criteria 2, where we can showcase reference letters—would it be acceptable to include a scanned image or screenshot of one reference letter on one of the three A4 pages?

The reason I ask is that I’ve conducted more than one of workshops, and I won’t be able to fit all the reference letters within the three-page limit. So I was thinking of displaying one letter directly on the page, and then including a link to a non-editable document that contains the rest.

Would that approach work, or is there a better way to handle this? the tech guide mentions “You must be able to demonstrate a consistent track record of mentoring and have received recognition for your personal contribution. Mentoring at a university or a single startup is not sufficient.” — thayswhy i want to show workshops with different startups.

Mate. Akash wrote this in his very helpful guide " Google Drive or cloud storage links are automatic rejections. The reviewing committee won’t follow external links for security reasons. All evidence must be directly uploaded as PDFs within your application. This may seem minor, but countless applications are rejected annually for this reason alone."

You cannot use the same letter twice. There is a section for Letters of Reference and the Evidence is separate. E,g., I added a reference letter to support my criteria, which was separate ( fourth person) from the main letters. They must be 3 pages, you can’t shrink a letter and pase multiple pages on a single page, and you can’t use links.

If you don’t read the information available to you, you will not get a different answer from the forum…

what would be an alternate solution if I cant use the goggle drive links? Please guide. Thanks

If you can’t read available resources, you won’t be accepted or endorsed. Please use the wealth of knowledge on here, internet etc., to guide you. You must follow the three page rule. there is no exception.

Hi @Nofar_Asselman it’s not acceptable to use the same evidence twice in the entire application even in different criteria. Best to get a separate reference letter if a letter is what you are looking to add.

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to clarify something about the document structure and the three-page limit per document:

For example, one of the mandatory criteria examples is: Outside of your normal day-to-day job role, you established, led or were a senior contributor to a large technology-led industry initiative, evidenced through reference letter(s) from global senior project executives.

I’m wondering if it’s acceptable to, say, on the first page, detail your contributions with screenshots, etc. Then, the other two pages would be a reference letter from the senior project executive. Does that work, or is each reference letter as part of your evidence counted as a separate, standalone document?

I’m trying to understand how best to package my evidence within the three-page limits. Thanks in advance for any insights or experiences you can share.

Typically, this is an accepted way to present your evidence by assessors are now more interested in third party sources available online that could corroborate your claims.
