Kindly help review my evidence for GTV Exceptional Promise

Hello! Please, I will appreciate an honest review of my evidence for GTV Exceptional Promise and feedback. Thank you.

The Brief: My Pivot to Product-Led

While my background is in digital marketing, and I have extensive public work as an agency CEO which got me the O1A Visa Approval for the U.S when I applied (A Talent Visa also)…I am unable to use most of them (lots of publications, client contracts, works with reputable organisations, etc.) for GTV because GTV is focused on Product-Led.

I am applying for the UK GTV under the Exceptional Promise category with a focus on Product-Led Growth (PLG)/Product Management.

Since late 2023, I have pivoted from services to products. I spent a year as a Product Manager and Growth Lead for a PLG company before founding my own Product-Led company in 2025. It is a talent-tech infrastructure that manages project matching, workflows, and payments. Between April and November 2025, the platform generated over $100,000 in revenue. My goal is to demonstrate that my work from 2023 to the present day meets the high technical and commercial standards required for this visa.

My GTV Evidence Profile: Exceptional Promise

Mandatory Criteria (MC)

The GTV Requirement: Show that I am recognised as having the potential to be a leading talent in the digital tech sector.

  • Evidence 1: Growth Leadership in a Product-Led Company
    • This is about my time as a Product Manager and Growth Lead (2023-2024).
    • What I’m providing: Product dashboards showing growth, media proof from that period, and a strong reference letter from the CEO confirming I led those growth initiatives.

Evidence 2: Published Material in Major Media

  • GTV requires proof of being an author in major trade publications.
  • What I’m providing: My 12+ tech articles from 2023/2024 published on platforms like TechCabal, Vanguard, BusinessDay, The Guardian and Tech Economy. I’m also including the reach/readership data for these platforms to show their significance.

Evidence 3: Expert Role as a Judge (Peer Review)

  • GTV requires proof of participating on panels or judging the work of others in the tech sector.
  • What I’m providing: Proof that I judged tech experts alongside leaders from Amazon and other UK/Global CEOs (4 of us in total). Since it was virtual, I’m packing this with the invitation letter, contract, selection criteria, media mentions, significance of work judged document, appreciation letter and the “Bye-laws” of the programme to show how rigorous the process was.

Evidence 4: High Salary & Benchmarking

  • Proof that my compensation is at a high level compared to the industry standard.
  • What I’m providing: My Paystub backed by industry benchmarks to show I am performing at a top-tier level.

Optional Criterion 3 (OC3): Commercial & Technical Contribution

The GTV Requirement: Demonstrate significant technical or commercial contributions as a founder of a product-led tech company.

Evidence 1: Commercial Success & Revenue Growth

  • Dashboard Proof: Screenshots showing $100k+ in revenue from April to November 2025. I’m showing the paid invoices and a Month-over-Month (MoM) platform growth chart showing how much we made.
  • Scale: A screen showing the Total Processed Volume (TPV) to prove how much money the platform actually moves.
  • Verification: An Accountant’s Letter from a chartered firm to verify every single invoice and number I’ve shown on the platform.

Evidence 2: Technical Contribution

  • This proves I didn’t just build a website, I built a product.
  • What I’m providing: Database schema, key API endpoints, system architecture, logic flowcharts, API documentation and backend code snippets. This shows exactly how the platform automates the vetting and deployment of talents.

Evidence 3: Operational Scale & Market Adoption

  • Real-world usage: Screenshots of the project dashboard showing ongoing projects and the chat engagements between client success managers and me discussing the tech projects.
  • Validation: Reference letters from the actual clients confirming they are working with talents on our platform, using the platform to run their projects.

Optional Criterion 2 (OC2): Recognition Outside Immediate Occupation

The GTV Requirement: Show recognition for work that contributed to the advancement of the tech sector outside of my daily job.

Evidence 1: Impact of my AI Book

  • I have written 4 books, but one of them was about Artificial Intelligence. To prove its impact, I have a media interview from The Nation where a mobile app CEO explains how my book helped his company grow in 2025.
  • Scale of Impact: Proof (screenshot of where he mentioned this in the interview) that he bought over 100 copies for his team, plus a letter from my publisher confirming multiple print runs of the book.
  • Future Evidences:
    • I am currently working on two additional pieces of evidence to round this out (likely mentorship or speaking engagements).

Recommenders.

  1. A Machine and AI Engineer in a global company in the U.K with HQ in the U.S. He also has his PhD in AI and Machine Learning. A first-class student from a Nigerian University and currently a British citizen, resident in the U.K…

  3. A Tech CEO…the company is in the U.K. It’s a startup with good traction and they are in the news.

I will appreciate a review of all of these and feedback…maybe what I need to do more or take out …whatever it is. Thank you.. @Raphael Thank you so much for all you do here…God bless you. I will really appreciate your feedback.

Thank you for sharing all of this. You’ve clearly done a lot of good work, but your application outline is very heavy and you need to be careful not to overwhelm the assessors.I was overwhelmed to be honest. GTV is evidence driven, not description driven, so keep everything focused on evidence based impact and contribution.

Your MC can be okay, just make sure each piece actually demonstrate recognition, not just activities. For OC3, the commercial numbers can be okay too, with the letter from an account supporting your dashboard data, but should be an audited statement of account not a letter. OC2 is weak as your evidence does not demonstrate that you were recognised for advancing the sector significantly.

Your LOR authors appear to be experts, but still check their public profiles like LinkedIn to be sure, their career histories shows they are experts in the sector.

Overall, you’re on the right track, just refine, remove anything that doesn’t directly prove impact, contribution or show recognition and make the narrative simple for the assessor to follow.

All the best.

Thank you so much @Raphael

I will work on all you’ve pointed out.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I really appreciate. God bless you!

MC Evidence 1 looks fine. However, if you have any supporting media coverage to strengthen your claim, that would make the evidence more compelling.
MC Evidence 2
Regarding the 12 publications you submitted, are these articles written by you as thought leadership pieces, or are they independent news reports about your work? Some assessors tend to treat certain news publications with caution, particularly if there have been past concerns about backdated or non-credible sources.
If you are confident that the articles were independently published without your influence, you may include them. However, it would be preferable to use well-recognised international media platforms with clear reader engagement and established credibility.
Optional Criteria 3 (OC3)
Chat screenshots are generally not considered strong evidence. If possible, provide stronger documentation such as:
Signed sales contracts or partnership agreements
Evidence of product development and revenue generation
Letters from clients confirming the measurable impact of your product
Independent media coverage validating your claims
The bar for Global Talent applications has increased, and all evidence should pass a credibility test. Wherever possible, external validation to support internally generated documents will significantly strengthen your case.
Optional Criteria 2 (OC2)
Currently, one piece of evidence alone is not sufficient to meet this criterion. You should consider adding more substantial supporting documentation.

Thank you @Francisca_Chiedu

I have adjusted my pieces of evidence based on the generous and helpful feedback from you and @Raphael. Thank you!

Do you mind checking the adjusted pieces of evidence?

Exceptional Promise Evidence Profile

The Narrative Pivot: Some of my articles/Op-ed and media mentions used inn MC and OC2 stated that- I am the CEO of a digital marketing agency (I wrote them in 2024 before fully pivoting into Product-Led same 2024). I am shaping the narrative; From a service-based agency background to a Product-Led Founder identity. I don’t know if this is fine and if I can still use the Op-ed and media mentions.

See the Narrative below:

Founder & Product Architect @ (Product-Led Company) | Technical Thought Leader in AI-Driven SaaS

While serving as CEO of ABC, a leading digital strategy firm, I gained deep market insights into the technical inefficiencies of global talent acquisition. This experience served as the foundational R&D for my transition into a purely Product-Led Founder. I leveraged these insights to architect (Name of Product-Led company), shifting from providing bespoke services to building a scalable, automated SaaS ecosystem. My previous media mentions as an agency CEO reflect the period of market validation that directly informed the proprietary logic and AI-driven frameworks that now power (Product-Led Platform).

See Evidence Below:

Mandatory Criteria (MC): Evidence of Leadership & Status

1) Leadership in Product Growth: Documentation of a prior role as a Product Growth Lead/PM (2024), featuring product dashboards showing user acquisition and Platform Technicality/Architecture.
2) High-Authority Media Profile: A collection of 3 media mentions in major publications (e.g., TechEconomy, Vanguard and Business Day)…mentioned by Techeconomy and Business day…because I spoke on their programme. (Add platform readership data)
3) Expert Judging Role: Participation as an expert judge (alongside global tech executives) organised by a tech company of over 20years, assessing the work of other tech professionals who built products…plus news publication about the event. It was Virtual. I have all documents and invitation letter, website screenshot…etc. (I don’t have pictures or videos)
4) High Salary & Benchmarking: Compensation records (payslips) validated against industry benchmarks to prove performance at the top tier of the tech market. (Using where I worked or my own Company Payslips)

Optional Criteria 2 (OC2): Recognition for Sector Advancement

1) Intellectual Property Impact: An AI-focused book with evidence of bulk adoption by tech firms (e.g., a CEO attesting to how the book helped his organisation and how he purchased bulk…evidenced in published material)
2) Independent Community Leadership: Founding an independent (non-commercial) tech mastery programme that attracted 100+ attendees, documented through event proof (picture of me speaking) and mainstream media interview (Published on major media platform)…thinking this fits for the part where Tech Nation mentioned Organising interest Groups
3) Technical Blueprints: Op-eds in sector-leading journals and mainstream media platforms (like TechCabal, Tribune, Vanguard, Techeconomy and Guardian…all in their Tech sections) providing architectural frameworks for AI and SaaS and an independent citation of one of them from a UK PhD holder in AI/ML. (Add platform readership data)

Optional Criteria 3 (OC3): Significant Technical & Commercial Contributions

1) Commercial Revenue Growth: Evidence of a proprietary platform generating $100,000+ in revenue within 10-11 months (April–February 2025), verified by an audited account and validation letters from 2 clients…plus one media mention from a client who mentioned our platform.
2) Technical Product Architecture: Documentation of proprietary automated vetting logic, including system architecture diagrams, database schemas, and backend code snippets to prove technical depth.
3) Market Adoption & Operational Scale: Dashboard proof showing the platform successfully managing 26 enterprise-grade projects and a vetted talent pool of over 2,000 professionals for global clients. Plus, media interview on The Nation News Platform- about how I built the platform and what we have achieved.

I will appreciate your feedback and whatever you think I need to remove or add to make it stronger incase the pieces of evidence are not strong enough. I am positioning as a Founder and Product Architect. @Raphael @Francisca_Chiedu . Thank you.

@Francisca_Chiedu @Raphael a nudge for your feedback on the adjusted pieces of evidence. Thank you and I sincerely appreciate this priceless help so far…not just to me but to many here despite having your own personal engagements. Again. thank you sincerely. @Raphael @Francisca_Chiedu
