Hello everyone, the information here has been very helpful and has guided me in finalizing my documents. Just a little review of what I put together to know if there’s anything I should add or take out. I have some few questions listed as I summarize my documents; even if you could answer just one question as you read this, I would be very grateful. Thanks and advance.
My Documents.
LORs:
- Former MD of the classifieds I work with who currently works at Google in the UK
- Chief Marketing Officer of the group that owned the subsidiary where I was Head of Sales & Marketing
- Mentor since 2019 who is currently a consultant but was formerly MD of Xerox in Egypt & Germany. He knows my works well, especially training entrepreneurs in digital skills & marketing in Morocco in 2019)
- A business partner who isn’t a founder in digital tech, but has an NGO that trains youth in coding, and is quite influential in the tech space as a thought leader)
(Q1: Will my mentor be a strong author of the LOR? Or should I go with the business partner who has the NGO)
MC1:
- Letter from my previous MD at the classifieds stating my works of bringing it all time high revenue, winning the award and helping the company achieve break-even, increasing customer growth and traffic to the website, amongst other projects and partnerships
- Screenshot which shows the award and why I won it
- Screenshot showing me represent the organization at various award ceremonies or events as a top-level manager
- Screenshot of my Payslips showing high salary and bonus
- Screenshot of bonus(shares in the company) as part of the few who got this opportunity

MC2:
- Reference letter inviting me as a speaker for the National E-commerce Forum and Exhibition by GIZ. Theme: Catalyzing Collaboration for a Responsive E-Commerce. September 2022, where I spoke on “Tech Growth and Digital Marketing for SMEs

- Also, another creative showing me being named as part of the 15 young changemakers in my country in a magazine, with screenshots of the article which talk about my expertise in marketing, digital marketing and my corporate experience.

(Q3: It’s okay that this focuses on an event in a digital tech event and also a recognition for my works, right? Or they are meant to be separate? )
MC3:
- Invitation by Total Energies to train finalists of the Total Start upper Challenge on digital marketing, and be a Jury of the finals. Pictures of the training and also being part of the Jury. (Some of the finalists were purely into digital technology)
- Email from Total Energies to volunteer to coach the 3rd runner-up for 12 months. I share screenshots of the email plus screenshots of discussions relating to growth of her project (Health Tech) which included creating an IOS version, partnering with the National Health Services and gaining more partnerships in other countries.
- My NGO partnered with an accelerator in Morocco where we held a pitch competition, and the 3 winners were fully funded to Morocco for mentorship and coaching (2 were in digital technology). I shared screenshots of the partnership, and pictures of the event with the winners.
- In Morocco, I trained them with other finalist from 10 other countries in digital technology and also had a Masterclass for top CEOs in Morocco on digital marketing. (Pictures of the Masterclass)
- I was part of the jury for all finalists in Morocco and the first 2 winners were also in the digital technology sector (I shared a creative showing the winners)
- In March 2020, I organized the pitch event again with 4 winners (2 in digital technology). I shared Pictures of the event and winners
(Q4: Should I separate these events above into 2 different documents or having them together is fine ? Especially if any of my evidence in MC or OC is a little weak?)
MC4:

I was invited to London for a conference for founders and led a panel which focused on Tech in Africa. The event was big and I was even on billboards. Attendance was over 200. (Evidences: I shared pictures of the billboards, picture of me as a speaker on their website and also pictures of the event)
Q3: Given that I was leading the panel and not necessarily a keynote speaker on the tech discussion, does it count? -
I was also invited to speak at a Tech event in London and Ghana (same event) on the topic “Sale Code for Tech Founders”. Evidence: Pictures of my flier as a speaker, pictures showing the event and me at the event, but I don’t have pictures of me speaking on stage. Reference letter from the organizer confirming I was a speaker at the event.
Q4: (Will not having a picture of me speaking on stage at the Tech event above be a problem? )

Evidence of my thought leadership, videos and content on sales and marketing. Screenshot of my Instagram page with over 30K followers, LinkedIn with 8K and Youtube with 4K.

Featured on front page of newspaper about my global impact, with an article that talks about my professional works at the e-commerce companies, my coaching in sales, marketing and digital skills and some other impact projects.
OC1:
- I shared pictures of a project I commenced since 2017 training students in digital skills and also career coaching through my NGO.
- I shared pictures of this same project speaking in Kenya with an audience of 1000 on digital skills and marketing
- During COVID lockdown, I organized a free online webinar with top business leaders in over 4 countries where we taught people on business skills and also online marketing. Shared images of the fliers and screenshots of people saying how blessed they were to attend.
- Also evidence of fliers and pictures of holding Free masterclasses in marketing, sales and digital skills in South Africa and Netherlands.
OC2: (Significant contribution)
- I used evidence of working in the e-commerce company and attaining the all-time high revenue which gave me the award (same as in MC1)
- Shared news link of a partnership I helped execute as Head of Sales & Marketing with one of the biggest news portals which helped us increase in traffic(My MD led this and I was part of the team that helped execute this)
- Pictures of offline campaigns I executed that helped increase traffic (I don’t have any screenshots of how traffic increased or any of such)
- Moved into another ecommerce company and planned their 3-year marketing strategy before leaving after 9 months. Reference letter from the HR of that company stating how I helped create the 3-year strategy which has helped them grow.
- Evidence of my contract with the 2nd e-commerce company
Q5: Is this strong enough for the “significant contribution”, especially since I repeated evidence from MC1.
OC3:
- Coaching and mentorship for an accelerator program in the UK (online) in 2023, funded by the UK Government. I mentored 4 startups and coached them in business development and digital marketing. Evidence is a screenshot of the email plus screenshot of one of the startups thanking me for a great session.
- Evidence of email screenshot of the organization reaching out to me again for another cohort which starts in 2 months plus another of their programs, to be part of 3 senior mentors for that as well. These programs a funded by the UK government and even though it’s a volunteer program, I do get a honorarium as a thank you for my time.
- Reference letter from the accelerator organization stating my involvement and how helpful I have been
Q6: Any comments on this please ?
OC4:
- I was invited as a lecturer for 2 Universities to teach on Online Marketing and also on Persuasion and Negotiation.
- Evidence of invitation letter for first University and link to Youtube of the session which is currently part of the curriculum of the Business School. Evidence of students reaching out to thank me for such a session and confirming it’s part of their curriculum: they must watch it and summarize it as a course work.
- Evidence of email for the session for university 2 with flyers of the event as well.
OC5:
- Organizing Interest Groups. In 2022 my NGO organized a summit which was had the theme: “Propelling Africa into a frontier of Innovation and Digital Wealth Creation”. We brought together founders and business leaders for this summit.
- Evidenced by links and screenshots of press releases in top news outlets and a link video interview on a TV platform which I currently on my youtube. Also, a link to a video ad done for the event.
- Also evidenced by fliers of speakers for the event
- The event was supposed to be onsite, but due to challenges, we had it online with over 150 people attending, however we don’t have any pictures of the event since it was online.
Q7: Are the evidences in OC5 above strong enough?
