I am quite conflicted whether I should apply for the GTV as my work experience consists of working in a video streaming service as a CMO. Would streaming service be considered a “product-led digital technology company”? The company’s primary revenue source are subscriptions from the video platform, so it is in fact based on a product. There’s a debate online whether to consider streaming services (aka Netflix, Spotify etc.) as tech companies or entertainment ones.
My experience as CMO is based on both business aspects (revenue, performance, leads etc.) and creative aspects. Would Tech Nation consider creative marketing aspect as a part of innovation approach to service’s marketing?
