Hi,
I am a Global Talent visa holder under the Exceptional Talent category with a 5 year visa.
I was not able to relocate to the UK immediately after receiving the visa, but I will be moving soon. When I arrive, there will still be a little over 3 years remaining on my visa.
Over the past 2 years, I have entered the UK from time to time.
Does anyone know if this initial 2-year period will cause any issues for my ILR application?

Exceptional Talents can apply for ILR after 3 years, Exceptional promise however require 5 years to apply for indefinite. if you are Talent, then i dont think that is an issue! (assuming you will relocating to the UK soon and complete the period in there) .
Also for the ILR always advisable to seek legal advise.

It won’t cause an issue, you just need to start counting when you become resident.
@Edg One advise I would provide is: Join the slack channel for TN visa holders as there you can seek for help about your ILR. I did the same and GTV alums there are really helpful towards your ILR application.
