ILR for Dependents

Good Evening Guys,

Thought to ask and confirm this please. Being endorsed as an exceptional talent, I have ILR in 3yrs, Dependents get ILR in 5yrs.

Sounds confusing though as dependents are supposed to be under main applicant.

Does this mean dependents and promising talents needs to leave the UK on the 5th year before they apply for ILR as the visa is just 5yrs long?

There’s something called as Visa extension. One can always continue to extend their visas.

I am actually avoiding the need for extension in the future. Thanks anyways.

I choose 5yrs and paid IHS 5years for all my 4 dependents.

I got 4yrs for myself too. The only question is after getting my ILR in 3yrs as Exceptional Talent, will I continue paying IHS post ILR?.

I also got to know, they get ILR in 5yrs and they can start the ILR application 4-6months to the end of the 5yrs. This will save them from extension.
