I am in process of applying for GT - Exceptional Talent category. I have been in UK on tier 2 visa for 3 years and have a tier 2 dependent visa - who has been in UK similar to me for 3 years.
I understand that as a tier 2 skilled worker, i can use my tier 2 residency time to immediately apply for ILR application (assuming GT - Exceptional talent gets approved)
But wondering what about happen to residency clock of my dependent? Would they continue to keep tier 2 residency time too and similarly apply for ILR application as they have clocked 3 years on tier 2 dependent visa
