IHS Query - Global Talent visa extension for dependents

Hello, we are trying to extend the Global Talent visa for dependents (they need another 1 year to qualify for ILR), while the main applicant has already moved to ILR.

In the online application for extension, there is a section for entering the current visa end date for main applicant. Now if I enter the end date of my previous Global Talent visa (valid until Oct’25), the IHS demand for dependents is only for 1.5 months and if I leave the field as blank, the ask is for 5 years !:slightly_frowning_face:

Per my understanding, the system should have automatically calculated the IHS for 3 years, as that’s what is mentioned in the standard guidelines for extending dependent visa when main applicant has already moved to ILR. So now we are unsure on what to do…ideally we need just one more year of extension.

Could anyone please share their previous experiences or provide a clarification on this? Thank you!!

Just add three years to today’s date. The date is written in the future.

Thank you! that’s what we did, but are yet to get the approval email as we went with the regular processing route (its been over a month) :frowning:
