If the application is rejected by tech nation for reasons unrelated to the recommendation/reference letters, when you apply again after 6 months with more achievements and evidence, can you reuse those old letters?

Your ability to reuse the letters really depends on two things: whether the letters were part of the original rejection and how much time has passed. Six months is a long interval, and even though the letters weren’t criticised, your new achievements won’t be reflected in them. It’s usually better to request fresh letters so your referees can mention your updated impact. Otherwise, Tech Nation may question why your new accomplishments weren’t acknowledged by the authors.

However, for a reapplication after six months, I would prefer updated letters where possible. The new application should reflect your recent achievements, and an updated letter can explain how your work has developed since the previous application. I would also suggest that you make sure your new evidence clearly addresses the reasons for the previous refusal rather than simply resubmitting the old package.
