How do I demonstrate that I have a proven track record of innovation when my company keeps details private?

I am heavily involved as a technical person in the development and maintenance of a significant digital product as an employee in a company.

However, the company does not have any public figures specific to the product or any estimate of users or revenue from the product mentioned online in any article or publication. I am only able to find articles relating to the launch of the product and awards the product has won or been nominated for.

Has anyone been in a similar situation trying to apply? And how can I demonstrate any of the below to use in my application?

  • Evidence of innovation/product development, proof of product in market and associated traction through revenue.
  • Evidence for each business should include your last set of audited accounts, projections for current financial year and articles of association.
  • Evidence of domestic and/or international sales should show customer numbers for each country in which the company is operating, including a ranking of your distribution channels with a breakdown of when these sales were achieved for each channel (i.e. online, physical retail, 3rd party distributors, resellers etc.).

Yes, although my company had a lot of details published externally, most of my work was very confidential so it wasn’t published anywhere. I employed a mix of these strategies to demonstrated impact

  1. Email chains from the bigwigs talking about my work and the impact it has created.
  2. Internal posts showcasing the impact.
  3. Letters from higher ups in my org. detailing all the work I’ve done and am doing and the impact it has had and would have.
Most of my work is futuristic - quite literally impacting the industry I am working in and most of it will only be realised in a few years so it was kind of difficult to quantify the impact. However, my CTO wrote a letter detailing this work and how it will transform the industry I am in when it goes live. I think that helped my case massively.
    Good luck!
