Hello Friends hope you are well… I need a little peace of advice as I am preparing my documents for my Global Visa talent application:
I am a Remote Software Engineer with 8 years of experience living outside of U.K:
For OC 3:
“Significant Technical Contribution: How do I demonstrate that I have made a significant technical, commercial or entrepreneurial contributions to the field as a founder, senior executive, board member or employee of a product-led digital technology company?”
Can I use contracts obtained from tech-talent outsourcing companies for evidence in the above optional criteria category and classify my-self as independent or self employed contracting engineer for product lead digital companies (mentioning their names and links), because in this case the tech-talent outsourcing companies are just bridge between me and product lead digital companies… Will it work? as these are the only evidence I have.
As I have total 8 years of experience: Should I apply for Exceptional or Promise category?
Having reviewed some of my documents from experts: Folks have suggested go for promise because the chance of approval are higher as compared to exceptional?
Your thoughts and advice of the above two questions will be much appreciated… Much thanks.
Contract roles are not considered eligible so it’s a risk.
You can apply for whichever route you feel is right for you however since you have 5+ years of experience TN will assess you on the Talent route, they decide which route you fit into basis number of years or experience. However you can apply as Promise and take a chance if that’s comfortable for you. Your success or rejection is not dependent on the route you apply to hence there’s no risk in choosing the route that you think is best for you.
For First Answer:
The contract that I am attaching are basically open ended employment-contracts which means they are relevant as long as I am working with clients: The concerning part to me is since those contracts are obtained through third party tech talent companies (as they are the one’s who have connected me with the product lead digital companies): So what do you think little change in the classification and structuring of the document or wording as I mentioned in this case (mentioning proper details about both companies [Contracting and product lead digital])… Will it work?
For Second Answer:
So what if I apply for exceptional route: and at the time of evaluation for the application, the accessor notes that some piece of evidence doesn’t fall 100% according to the TN website guideline but evidence provided in the documents are sufficient for promise route (Will they consider that) …?
No. They don’t assess you for two routes/ they select the route first before assessment basis your total number of work experience and then assess the whole application.
