Help me with my application that refused

I submitted 10 pieces of evidence, 9 of which were obligatory and one of which was optional. The optional evidence consisted of 30 pages, while the other evidences were only 3 pages each. Unfortunately, I don’t know exactly that all of my evidences should be 3 pages(obligatory/optional)?and I don’t know that with 15 years experiences can I apply for exceptional promise visa or not because I explained that I should be familiar with the work as a leader in UK, although I have more experience but I need to know more about working in this country.

Nine of my evidences pertained to three projects. Each document for these projects followed a similar structure: 1. Description on the first page, followed by 2. Code & Databases (Database Structure), 3. Architecture (with the CEO’s signature and explanation in the header and footer), 4. Download count from Google Apps or the local site, with links provided for all, along with demo user credentials to access the produced website, and 5. Contracts with the relevant companies, listing my company’s name and mine and also upload different news that shows the beneficial of these projects that I have a contract with the another company . Additionally, I demonstrated my position as the chairman of my company through various documents such as pay slips and office gazette entries bearing my name. I have over 15 years of experience as a Senior Software Developer, project leader, and manager, all of which have been corroborated by my recommenders. However, I suspect that I may have used the same format for the recommendation letters, which could be a problem.

Additionally ,all of my recommenders are the CEO of the 3 companies that I had contracted with them ,and also my education is Bachelor.

Firstly, I would like to request a review of this feedback and my explanation. Could you please provide feedback on my explanation and suggest improvements? Additionally, I am in dire need of someone who has experienced a similar situation to review my evidences and advise on how I can improve them for resubmission, if necessary. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Absolutely, maximum pages per evidence is limited to 3. Also, if you applied for exceptional promise and your profile indicates more than 5 years experience, your application will be treated same as if you applied for exceptional talent route.

The main issue TN has with the application is that all the evidence covers projects done in a consultancy role.
The guide Tech Nation Visa Guide - Tech Nation explicitly states that they only accept evidence from product companies and that consultancy work won’t be accepted:

Please note the following specialisms are generally not considered suitable

  • Service Delivery, Process Delivery, Outsourcing, Consultancy (technical or management), ERP Consultancy, Systems Admin and all related fields.

&

[This excludes general consultancies, outsourcing and technology-related consultancy groups focused on process/service delivery or solutions/systems architecture. Such firms do not meet the guidelines, particularly those primarily serving large corporate or multinational corporate (MNC) customers.

I don’t think you have a basis to appeal this decision.
Can you provide evidence from product lead companies from the last 5 years in a new submission? If not I’m afraid I don’t think TN global talent visa is the right path for you.
You might want to have a look at a different visa type. For example if you want to set up a company you might check the Innovator Founder visa Innovator Founder visa: Overview - GOV.UK

Thank you for your response.

Could you clarify what you mean by stating that both routes require the same documents? All of my recommendations letter indicate that we are eligible for the Exceptional Promise route. With over 15 years of experience, should I consider applying for the Talent route instead?

I agree with the comments above. You should work harder on your case. First, learn more about the rules for Tech Nation endorsement. Then, gather more evidence, which might take a few months. For example, focus on boosting your public profile and doing online talks with over 100 attendees. Additionally, consider publishing conference papers, developing new apps/programs, participating in open-source projects, etc. These activities can further strengthen your case.

I have worked for a company that has various contracts with other companies. Within my company, I have held roles such as a leader, project manager, and senior software developer. All three of my recommendations from the CEOs precisely detail my roles. My evidence consists of three projects. Some individuals have suggested that I should elaborate on one project. I am genuinely confused about what I should do. Unfortunately, I don’t have a GitHub account because these projects do not allow for source code uploading due to privacy concerns, and additionally, my country is under sanctions, which restricts my ability to work with certain platforms.

I am seriously contemplating setting up my own company. If I am unable to apply for the Global Talent visa, I am considering applying for a graduate visa. However, my ultimate goal is to apply for the Innovator visa. Regrettably, I do not know anyone who has successfully applied for it and received positive feedback. If anyone has any information or knows of groups that could provide assistance, please share it with me.

Thanks for your response.

And this is exactly the problem. TN want evidence exclusively from product lead companies and not from outsourcing / consultancy ones so this whole line of evidence just won’t be accepted.

Other might have mentioned this but I’ll say this again because it is important.

You need to work really hard on making your case super simple and easy, and map your evidence precisely onto tech nation provided criteria. The evidence should be composed of short text/captions, accompanied with figures, screenshots, or any quantified metrics.

If you have 15 year experience, then try for talent rather promise. Make sure to read the criteria word by word and map your evidence accordingly.

You also need to provide evidence how your products and concepts are novel. Either via strong logic, recommendation letters, or some third party news, clippings and etc

There needs to minimum 2 documents of evidence for MC, and then minimum 2 documents for any/each of the 2 chosen OC criteria’s.

I would not recommend an appeal.
