I have a question about switching from my current Visa. I’m on a dependent skilled worker visa since Nov 2022. My wife is a support worker since Aug 2022 and we want to switch. What is our best options in going for ILR after. Thank you
I’m not sure I fully understand your question. However, if you switch to a Global Talent visa, your ILR qualifying period will reset. This means you would become eligible for ILR after 3 years under the Global Talent route.
If your wife switches to become your dependant under the Global Talent visa, her qualifying period for ILR would also restart and she would begin counting her residency period from the date she switches.
