I am planning to apply for Global Talent visa, and trying to figure out my application draft. I am one of the two managing partners of a web development company for about 13 years. We are developing digital products in line with customer demands. We own these digital products and sell the right to use them to our customers. Then, if the contract terms allow, we position these products in the market for different customers. Here is my draft of application. Your comments and guidance will be very valuable to me.

Documentation of a digital product (Product A) developed for a medical school in Turkey with the sponsorship of a multinational biopharmaceutical company. The product is developed for collecting the Diagnostic and follow-up examination data of osteoporosis patients. This product is developed in 2020 is kept live for a year. Shut down after collecting all required data of 150 patients. The data collected was used to improve treatments. This product has the potential to be used in different university hospitals, but has not yet been sold due to lack of sponsors.
Evidences : Screenshots of the project and collected data (anonymously), letter from the department head of the physical therapy and rehabilitation department (the person who manages the project on the hospital side) confirming my role and a summary of the work done, screenshots of e-mail correspondence with the hospital team (doctors and assistants).
Documentation of a a tailor made CMS has been developing for our efficient use of labor resources and increasing profitability since 2014. Designed with a modular and proprietary approach, this product has become the backbone of our company’s infrastructure, directly contributing to our goals of efficiency and profitability. This product is still being used by tens of our previous and current global clients. We are also planning to servis this product to the UK and EU market with a B2B approach. Our target audience will be web development companies who are using ready to use CMS’ like Wordpress and Umbraco.

Last month, we organized a 2-day event attended by nearly 150 digital industry employees. I am also a member of this team and took an active role in organizing this event. I made this contribution without any financial expectations and will continue to do so in subsequent events.

In this set of MC, your 1st two evidences are largely self-claims along with letters and no external proofs. The second product does not even seem to be in the market fully. TN has flagged many times if there was no external evidence proof. MC requires you to prove your leadership in the entire digital tech sector hence external proofs are a key part.
Can you show the product live in the market?
Was there any PR, news coverage, media mentions about the products?
The 3rd evidence seem to be your involvement in a team to organize an event. But what is asked for as per TN guidelines is you being a speaker/panelist at a digital tech event. They are two different things completely.
Thanks for your detailed review. It had been about 4 years after the shutdown of the 1st product and because of some restrictions it’s not easy to find media related evidence. The second product is still being used by tens of our clients. You are right for the 3rd evidence. I didn’t speak at that event, I was in the organizing team. Actually we are the creators of this community.TN clearly states that applications should have product-led evidences. These 2 products are developed on behalf of the customers demand but we are also marketing these two products to other candidates because all rights of two products belong to my company. Do you have any comments on this subject?
You need to show your significant contribution to these products, proof of their sale with some revenue numbers (not self claims but some official proofs), proof of product success and traction and evidences to back your claims about your significant contribution to the product and its impact.

Will it be enough strong to share a part of the contract signed with clients, company income records, screenshots of the product implemented to clients’ projects? Also I can share our company’s Jira screenshots to prove my contribution to this product.
How do these show your significant contribution to this product? The evidence should link strongly to showcasing that you contributed significantly to its success. Jira screenshots show you contributed, do they show anything significant about your contribution?
Many times TN has flagged saying it looked like the applicant did their job in a great manner but it doesnt reflect any significant contribution.
Can you get a letter from a client backing your contribution and the impact of the product on them?
Of course I can provide letters from clients detailing my contrubition on the product and the product’s impact on them. Does this make a difference? If you have any other suggestions, I would be very happy if you shared them.

And one more question if you don’t mind should i still add my contribution to the event I mentioned in my first message. I can also get a letter from the creator of the community detailing my contribution, share photos with the team, linkedin message tagging me from the event participants.
wouldn’t it be important for TN to contribute to the organization of such an event? Frankly, speaking to the community doesn’t feel good to me. That’s why I usually prefer to be on the production and leading side. Please don’t misunderstand, my aim is not to refute your statements, I’m just trying to understand better. If it doesn’t have an effect, it would be better not to add it.
The speaking event requirement is verbatim below, if you think it fits this you should definitely include -
You have evidence of speaking at high-profile digital technology sector events, or specialist events for your particular field in the digital technology sector, as evidenced by reference letter(s) from leading industry expert(s) describing your work, or as evidenced by news clippings or similar evidence (including event size/attendance estimates where possible).

We developed a product to improve the treatment of a disease under the sponsorship of a world-renowned biotechnology brand. This product was used in one of the biggest university hospital in Turkey between 2020 and 2022, and all findings and data belonging to 150 patients were collected and reported through this product. This reported data was used to improve a specific treatment. In this direction, an approval letter stating the innovative effect of the developed product from the professor who is the head of the department of the relevant university hospital
