Does working in research Lab for NHS will be counted as Product based experience?

Hi,

I work as a Data Scientist at Moorfields Eye Hospital, which is part of the NHS. My role involves building AI models for detecting abnormalities in eye scans.

Although I collaborate with product-based companies that utilize our AI capabilities, I’m unsure if my current experience qualifies as working in a product-based company.

I would appreciate any insights or advice on this matter. Thank you!
