CTO, Technical Lead, Exceptional Talent

Hello,

I just applied for Exceptional Talent and after this started to read this forum as have a feeling that I’ll fail with 100% confidence.

Positive:
17 years of commercial experience.
5 References:

  • from secretary general of Interpol (non-technical)
  • from high profile official from ministry of foreign affairs (partically technical)
  • CEO & frounders of few startups I worked with (non-technical)
  • VP of engineering (industry expert)
    OC3:
  • owned creative hub which offered IT courses, organized investments events, provided free cources for war veterans etc. So high social impact
  • initiated devleopment of the IT free conomical zone in my country to create best tax and legal environment for high-tech startups
Both have interviews and media mentions (however all video interviews have almost 0 views on YouTube becuase they were broadcast TV so impossible to prove audience)
Evidence of MC: google analytics, screenshots from products, from Jira, technical documentation - architecture diagrams etc. videos - including address to nation from country president in which he promotes our product

Negative:

  • due high load at work didn’t have enough time and provided evidence only for 2 projects so most of references left wihtout supporting evidence
  • used AI to fix grammar and styling mistakes as didn’t pay an attention that this is not allowed. And now have a feeling that it’s easy to see.
  • wrote terrible statement - boring, non-informative and looking like average non-sense marketing material instead of real statements I saw here in forum threads.

What do you think? How high is the chance of approval? Can this issues be fixed during appeal? And if not - when I’ll reapply, will it be the same reviewer or different and will he see my previous application? Will my previous applicatin hurt a new one?

Thanks for your feedbacks in advance.

Hi @kumomuk There’s no point asking for probability of success and appeal, re-application when you have already submitted the application. You are just stressing out

It’s fair and more comprehensive to provide any comments or feedback with the actual application outline per criteria & assessor feedback.

Please wait for the decision: good luck!
