I am seeking clarification regarding the requirements for published articles and public speaking evidence as part of the Tech Nation application process. Specifically, I have a few questions:
Is it mandatory to provide evidence of public speaking engagements, or is this optional?
Regarding published articles, where can I publish content that would be accepted by Tech Nation as valid evidence? Are articles published on LinkedIn considered valid?
I would greatly appreciate any guidance or advice from those who have experience with this aspect of the application process.
It’s not a requirement to have public speaking engagements but it is a good thing to have as it shows exposure.
There’s no rule about where your articles need to be published except that it needs to be in a well regarded place. Linkedin and Medium are specifically excluded
Thank you so much for your response! That really clears up my doubts about public speaking and publishing platforms.
I have another query related to the type of project or work evidence required. Specifically, is it necessary to submit internal confidential documents, or would screenshots of applications or a letter from an organizational representative suffice to support the work I have done and highlight my contributions?
TN aren’t looking for confidential information and you shouldn’t upload such documents.
You can use screenshots and support letters from the company to prove your impact
Hi, you can publish your articles on Hackernoon or Mind The Product. I don’t really know what your role is, would have recommended specific ones but those two above accept articles on all topics.
