Thank you, @Francisca_Chiedu! Impact is another optional criteria, isn’t it? I was planning to use it anyway, and without innovation I don’t have the second one. Do you think I could make it work with innovation as an ML product manager?

It is possible but tech nation stated a caveat that if you are using both impact and innovation, your evidence must show the difference…

I wonder what if I use different examples for impact and for innovation and focus on driving metrics in one case and on technological novelty (though not patented) in another

For the criteria “proven track record or examples of innovation in the digital technology sector”, the guide states the following:

If you are an employee working in a new digital field or concept, this must be clearly demonstrated, for example by providing a patent application (patent should include verifiable ID on Google Patents).

None of the companies I’ve worked for applied for patents. Is there any other type of evidence that can prove innovation?

It would have been easier to show if you were a technical applicant. Other than that use what is in the guideline
