Is it correct that I need to pay £139 for my biometrics appointment through https://www.ukvcas.co.uk website? or is there another way to do it for free?
(I already paid health surcharge and visa fees.)
Check later dates, you may find free vacant appointment, but it depends on your current situation if you can wait till that time

yes. I’m applying within the UK
Use “UK immigration ID check” with that, you don’t need to go for biometric and it’s free. You can do that at your comfort zone.
Hmm… I didn’t get any QR code or connection code from my application process so I’m not sure I can use the ID check app
