Best way to email my GTV documents (zip vs. individual files)?

Hello everyone,

Good day!

First, I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has contributed to my Global Talent Visa documents so far. I truly appreciate all the support and input.

I have a question as I’m about to send my documents to the Global Talent endorsement team. Gmail doesn’t allow attachments larger than 25MB, and my evidence files exceed that limit. Should I zip all the evidence into a single file and send that, or upload them one by one? I’d appreciate advice on the best option.

Thanks again!

Yeah very true, just worried about how they will compile all the docs without missing any out.

While you’re allowed to send multiple emails with the documents separated, my only concern is the risk of the what if? So what I usually suggest is you compress the PDF evidence document with a good compressor that will greatly reduce the sizes without compromising the document content quality. At the end you should not exceed 25MB.

This way, your submission stays clean, organised, and less likely to cause confusion during exchange and assessment.

All the best

Hello @Raphael this is really helpful, thank you so much.

To make the most of this thread, I have another question. The checklist document I downloaded from the UK application website has tick boxes in the PDF. Should I check all the boxes (add a digital tick mark to each one) before submitting, or is that not required?

Thank you, Raphael, for your speedy response as always.
