Asking for help to review my profile for Global Talent Visa – Exceptional Promise (Business Applicant)

Hi all,

I am preparing an application under the Exceptional Promise route (Business) and would appreciate feedback on my case. My background is in digital marketing, CRM systems, and AI-driven marketing automation, working at the intersection of marketing and technology, with active involvement in supporting women in tech and advocating for greater female representation in the sector.

Below is a structured summary of my evidence and some explanation of my career progression.
I would really appreciate everyone’s feedback on strength, alignment and clarity of my evidence.

I worked in traditional marketing (+ early attempts to move into digital Marketing) for more than 8 years and after completing an MSc in Digital Marketing at a UK university, my career shifted fully toward digital and CRM roles (early adopter of AI in CRM). That’s why i see it like this - 8 years in traditional with a shift to 100% digital after completing MSc degree.

Resulted in 1000% higher web traffic versus comparable products, external recognition at the key industry events and sustained year-over-year revenue growth. Computers were covered in international and industry-specific media and awarded a national import-substitution award. My contribution and leadership will be confirmed by CEO reference.

MC2 Track leader and speaker at women tech conference for AI in Marketing (November, 2025). Event with 200+ female tech attendees; peers from recognisable tech brands. Organised the whole track, selected the speakers, keynote speech at the beginning of a track.

I know that my case might be not staightforward and some criteria might look weak. I would like to know your thoughts if I have any chances and could apply now or wait and contribute to the industry more.

Please @Raphael @Maya @Akash_Joshi @Francisca_Chiedu @pahuja i really appreciate your feedback.

Thank you so much in advance!

First, strengthen your LORs significantly. Your current recommenders need to explicitly address why you are an exceptional promise, what you will contribute to the UK, and your future plans in detail. The LOR from your Course Leader is good but needs expansion. Make sure your LOR1 from Company 3 addresses your technical leadership in building the CRM infrastructure and multilingual AI workflow. Remember that LORs from the same company can be risky, so having variety helps.

Second, restructure your evidence presentation. Your MC2 speaking engagement at the women’s tech conference is strong. But you need to bundle your eight HackerNoon articles into one consolidated OC2 evidence with screenshots showing views and homepage features, not submit them separately. Your guest lecture and panel discussion should be combined as well. For OC3, your CRM module development at Company 1 and the AI automation workflow at Company 3 are solid, but you must prove these companies are product-led digital technology companies in your evidence documents.

Third, your salary evidence needs careful handling. Compare your 2021-2022 salary against the local Eastern Europe median for marketing specialists using Glassdoor or similar platforms. Include this comparison screenshot directly in your evidence. Your recent UK salary likely won’t qualify since you need to show exceptional remuneration relative to your market.

Your application has good bones. Focus on making each piece of evidence tell a complete story with clear self-documentation, third-party proof, and supporting letters where relevant. I’ve seen business applicants with similar CRM and automation backgrounds get endorsed when they present their technical contributions clearly.

Thank you so much @Akash_Joshi for your kind and detailed feedback and your time!

I’m stuck trying to find historical data on my average salary in 2021–2022, because not all platforms keep records going back that far. I’m also unsure how reliable the source needs to be for Tech Nation. Have you ever come across finding past earnings data for a professional, or proving income history as part of a Tech Nation application?

Many thanks,

Olga
