Applying for Stage-1 when a visa application is already submitted

Hi all,

Can we initiate stage-1 of Global Talent visa if we have already submitted a skilled worker visa application to home office from within UK and are waiting for its response?

I just did something similar.

My advise, if your visa isn’t expiring ie super urgent, then see one process through first before the other. Pace yourself. You already applied for the skilled worker visa (mine took 2 days to get a decision and it wasn’t priority or super priority) so just wait, get your feedback and then concentrate on the GTV. A bird at hand is better than a million at bay. I hope that helps.
