I applied for the Global Talent Visa under the Exceptional Talent route, but got endorsed as Exceptional Promise instead. I’m really grateful to have received the endorsement, but I was wondering if there’s any process to appeal or request a reassessment specifically to be considered under the “Talent” category.
Also, I’ve seen others mention that when their application was rejected, they were provided with information about which criteria they didn’t meet. However, in my case, there was no status change or reasoning shown in my Tech Nation application portal, no feedback at all. The only thing I got was an email.
I don’t think you get any detailed information about your application if you’re approved. You only get detailed information about your application if your application was rejected.
I don’t have an answer to the first question.
Can I ask when did you apply and when did you get your endorsement?
You can’t appeal. If you are not happy with the promise, you can wait for the endorsement to expire then submit a new application and hope you get endorsed
To my knowledge you need to carefully choose which talent category you’re suitable. This is first time I see that someone got endorsed in different talent category.
They do, sometimes you can apply for exceptional promise and the access will endorse you for talent. While exceptional talent zones get offered promise.
@Muhammad_Abdullah I applied for promise and was endorsed for talent. It’s very common - the committee assesses you for the route that fits your work experience.
Thank you! I really appreciate that. I am genuinely grateful for the endorsement. Just had a moment of wondering whether I could’ve done anything differently.
