I’m preparing my first Global Talent Visa (Digital Technology – Leader route) application and would really appreciate an honest review or feedback from those who have applied or been endorsed.
Below is a concise outline of my profile and evidence set.
Profile summary
• Role: Digital platform leader & founder (UK-based)
• Background: 15+ years across digital media, fintech, and social-tech platforms
• Focus: Product-led digital platforms, AI-enabled services, and technology for inclusion

• Aligned consistently with all submitted evidence
What I’d really appreciate feedback on

  1. Does this profile clearly meet Leader (not Promise)?
  2. Are my OC2 evidences strong enough, or would you recommend refining them?
  3. Any gaps or red flags you see based on current Tech Nation standards?
  4. Would you recommend adding or swapping any evidence before submission?

Hi @yasmin

You have some good elements in this outline but also a few that won’t work:

MC:

  • selection in accelerators is not a valid industry recognition accepted by TN.
  • one media coverage is not the strongest but ok. Ensure it’s not too close to application date and within 5 years.
  • 2019 award is beyond 5 years and won’t be counted.

OC2

  • ensure you show invite letter, keynote speaking pictures, establish the size and prominence of the event in the tech industry
  • LinkedIn newsletter and with insignificant engagement is weak
  • one off thought leadership is also weak as they look for a track record esp in talent route.

OC3: you need to clearly show high impact of your contribution in quantified core company metrics.

  • endorsement basis future projections and plans are invalid as per guidelines.
  • future plans are not counted.
  • In all your evidences clearly show two narratives of impact that has happened and was significant.
