Your evidence shows strong technical delivery skills with the ERP systems you’ve built. However, I need to be upfront about a critical challenge. The official guidance explicitly lists “Consultancy Roles” as unsuitable for this visa. Your work appears to be implementation and customization of solutions for multiple clients. This falls under consultancy rather than building proprietary digital products. I’ve seen several rejections where applicants with similar profiles were turned down because the work wasn’t for a product-led digital technology company.

You need to reframe your strongest achievements if you want to proceed. The AI-powered educational platform for kids could work if you can show real traction like thousands of active users or revenue. The church presentation software being used in the UK is interesting but needs much stronger evidence of impact beyond two churches showing interest. For your mandatory criteria, focus on one major technical innovation that generated measurable outcomes. Your letters should come from people outside your immediate work circle who can speak to your recognition in the broader tech community.

I’d honestly suggest strengthening your application before submitting. Look for ways to demonstrate that your work created proprietary technology with significant user adoption or revenue, not just successful client implementations. Consider if you have any open-source contributions, community work, or side projects that show innovation beyond your day job. Your technical skills are clearly strong, but the visa requires proving you’re advancing the field in ways that go beyond excellent consulting work.
