Does anyone know how long it typically takes to receive feedback after submitting an appeal for a rejection? I applied for the Exceptional Talent visa but was rejected because some of my screenshots were deemed too small and unreadable. That was the only reason given for the rejection, as they couldn’t access some of the evidence.
However, I checked the screenshots, and they are readable when zoomed in. I’ve submitted an appeal asking them to zoom in on the screenshots, but I’m curious about the timeline. Has anyone here filed an appeal before, and how long did it take to get a response?
It’s unfortunate to hear about your rejection, but don’t lose hope! There isn’t specific guidance around how long it takes, but I can share insights from my own experience.
Firstly, it’s fantastic that you’ve already submitted an appeal challenging their assessment of the screenshots. But remember that the review process primarily focuses on processing errors, not re-evaluating the evidence itself. So, while they may re-examine the screenshots for readability based on your appeal, they won’t be considering new evidence or arguments against the initial decision.
Thank you so much for your detailed feedback. You’re right, I didn’t provide any new evidence; my intention was to argue that the evidence already submitted is clear and readable when zoomed in. I hope this approach works in my favor. I truly appreciate your insight once again!
I applied on 7th January and got my response yesterday. I applied within the UK. Did you apply inside UK or outside? I learnt those in the UK get faster response
